Why an apprenticeship

Not just training, a career launchpad

Apprenticeships are a serious route into a serious career. Here is what you get with us.

  • Earn while you learn

You are paid from day one while you gain an industry-recognised qualification. No student debt, no waiting to start.

  • Build confidence

Real workplace experience that grows you personally as well as professionally, not just a certificate at the end.

  • Gain future-proof skills

Digital, technical and business expertise that employers are actively hiring for right now.

  • Career pathways

Advice on what comes next, whether that is further study, a promotion, or a different route entirely.

  • Confidence building

What apprentices tell us

So far I’ve been introduced to the benefits of AI, and to new ICT possibilities for a more effective workforce and operational systems, bringing time saving capabilities and aiming to improve work effectiveness.

David Cleal National Institute of Conductive Education

The support from Primary Goal has been amazing. I have a brilliant tutor who is there at any point I need them. They’re great with advice, when you hand in an assignment they give you feedback on it. It has been a really pleasurable experience to be part of the Digital Champion Apprenticeship Programme.

Nicci Sawdy St Pauls Catholic Primary School

Through my work on the apprenticeship programme to become a digital champion, I have been able to upskill myself in so many different areas. It’s not just been about improving my use of tech and skills, but it’s also supported me to look at my leadership skills and my wider working skills.

Emma Watson Digital Champion Apprentice

What Primary Goal do that is great for us is they teach us also how to be project minded. It’s understanding that improving technology in schools is a people thing.

It’s been really useful having the dedicated coach assigned to yourself. They’re always there anytime you need them. It’s been really appreciated.
