Accessibility

This site should work for everyone

We build to WCAG 2.1 level AA. If something on this site gets in your way, we want to know so we can fix it.

Our commitment

Primary Goal is an education provider. It would be difficult to argue we take inclusion seriously while shipping a website that excludes people, so accessibility is treated as part of the build rather than an audit at the end.

This site has been designed and tested to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 level AA (opens in a new tab).

What that means in practice

  • Colour contrast meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA on every text and interface element
  • Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
  • Animation and movement respect your operating system’s reduced motion setting, and the site works fully without it
  • Content is structured with proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate it
  • Text can be resized to 200% and reflows to 320px width without loss of content or function
  • Forms have visible labels, clear error messages, and errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone
  • The site works without JavaScript for reading and navigation

Known limitations

We would rather list these than pretend they do not exist:

The programme finder requires JavaScript
The two-question finder is an enhancement. Without JavaScript it shows a link to the full programmes page and to our contact form, both of which give the same information.
The partner marquee scrolls automatically
It pauses on hover and stops entirely when reduced motion is enabled, in which case the full list of names is shown statically instead.

Reporting a problem

If you find something that is hard to use, or you need information from this site in a different format, contact us and we will put it right or send you the content another way.

We aim to respond within five working days.

Reasonable adjustments for learners

Accessibility on our programmes goes further than this website. We have a published Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations Policy, and a Learner Inclusion and Support Strategy. Both are available on our policies page, and your coach can talk through what support is available to you.
