Programme overview
What this programme does
A flexible blended learning programme designed to upskill IT professionals and young people aspiring to start their careers in IT. This programme combines cutting-edge training, expert mentorship and advanced tools to prepare learners for managing and supporting IT and telecommunications infrastructure in a high-demand field.
Delivery format
A blended learning approach combining instructor-led sessions (live online workshops delivered by your dedicated trainer, plus four-weekly sessions with your dedicated work-based coach) alongside self-paced digital learning through interactive activities and hands-on Packet Tracer labs for practical application in a safe environment. The programme is delivered through flexible off-the-job hours: 40% of that time is provided by Primary Goal through remote training sessions, one-to-one coaching, eLearning courses and work-based projects. The other 60% covers workplace activities such as attending meetings, CPD, conferences and industry events, and shadowing. All of these activities relate directly to the Information Communications Technician programme.
Final assessment
The final assessment evaluates your understanding and application of the skills acquired throughout the course, including practical tasks and a reflective project. Successful completion leads to industry-recognised qualifications.
